Started hunting at 4 mos.To this day
he hunts ducks geese doves chuckers sharptails pheasants.
In my 40 yrs of training and using field dogs. He has to be one of the
best in my life time.And my hunting friends agree he is one of the best
pheasant dogs they have ever seen.He seems to have that one element
you can't train for Birdiness.We hunt with many shorthairs(GSP)
and he out performs them 90% of the time.
He got injured by an inexperienced hunter. But he wanted to go hunting
in the afternoon and made and honest 1/2 mile retrieve on a set wing pheasant.
